History of Redcliffe Peninsula SLSC

From our beginnings in 1991 Redcliffe Peninsula SLSC have been a family orientated club focusing on family values and the iconic institute that is Surf Life Saving.

In 1991 our club was born.  Based in a shipping container at Woody Point ‘clubies’ new the only way was up. The following year we acquired use of a more suitable building, but we were determined to go further and so fundraising began with sausage sizzles and pig racing.

In December 1995 we were rewarded with a new club house which to this day is our current location.  With the addition of a Gear Shed we were slowly but surely growing faster then we ever thought we would.

Now in 2017 with assistance through government funding it looks like we are on the up.
