This weekend we will be our third sign on day for the 2010/2011 season. If you would like to sign up or talk to someone about signing up please come along to either Redcliffe Pool or the Club House between 10am and 12pm. We will be holding pool & surf proficiencies during this time.
September 12th will be our last sign on day at both Redcliffe pool for pool proficiencies and at the Clubhouse for beach proficiencies. These will be held between 10am and 12pm.
For more information on proficiencies please see the relevant page for the age group your child will be entering. Their age group is based on the age they will be before the September school holidays.
Winter is almost over and we are all thinking about the beautiful summer months and that means the 2010-2011 season. Membership renewals have now been sent out and Patrols will commence on 18th September with our Nippers returning on the 19th September.
A big CONGRATULATIONS goes out to our Chief Training Officer - Phil Reed for winning the State Awarded Assessor of the Year. This is our first ever win in this category and a big Thank You goes out to Phil for all his hard work.
We are proud to announce that Redcliffe SLSC came 2nd in the Buhk Wilkes Trophy for the Lifesaving Club of the Year Award, which means we have the 2nd best patrolled and run beach on the Sunshine Coast. What an achievement, we are so proud of our club and a big Thank You to everyone for your efforts last season.
The 1st July 2010 saw changes to the Blue Card system for Teachers and Police Officers. If you are a Police Officer or a Teacher please read the attached Flier from the CCYCPG to see how the changes affect you.
